This was a sketch for KanrodStavoyan that got a little out of hand ; u ; He asked for a background with a forest, mountains in the background, and light streaming through the trees and I thought to myself, 'yeah I can do that for a sketch!'

... I cannot do that for a sketch xD But being stubborn as I am I reworked the background anyway. Got some great suggestions from BlindCoyote over telegram about it. As a general note (and I'll post about this later) due to time constraints I will no longer be offering backgrounds on sketches.

As I understand this character is a slave, or a former slave, and is heading out to new horizons, trying to find a way to a welcoming place she can call home.
