What does one do when all the pride in the world is taken away from her?
Does she continue to fight? Compete, or give in to the inevitable?
What happens when she reaches this section of crossroads?
Is she scared? Frightened, or does the anger inside swell up and overcome her true being?
How can she possibly hide this inner anger from those who are close? Those who know her so well?

- She remains silent as her heart weeps,
All of her dreams and acomplishments taken away.
- Only now she is left with her thoughts,
And the deafening silence that follows.



The verse is about 2 years old, a little more than that actually. I also had a piece of art made up for it as well. However, I have had this idea in my head for a long while. This was only supposed to be a concept sketch and then painted in acrylics . . . but I kinda went overboard.
