He was very up front with me, he said that before I got better I would get worse. He's mostly doing deep tissue stimulation, which... pretty much involves taking a metal bar and pushing it against my arm hard enough to squeeze against the bone, and then aggressively rub it back and forth until my arms are the color of the outsides and insides of plums. Disturbingly... it works.
