A collaboration I did with Sara Palmer for a portfolio call “Elysium”. It was all hoof stock animals done in 2001. Sara did the unicorn zebra and I did the oriental dragon. I may just have to paint this one day.

But the dragon is just incredible!! It makes me want to work harder to learn how to draw right. Your pupil hasn't surpassed his teacher yet :)

Wooo, that is some lovely inkwork! I wish I had the time (much less the patience) to do that sort of work... scales in particular can be troublesome. Looks spectacular, though, and I'm gonna have to peruse to see if this ever got painted... :)
