queue the "the more you know" star. but yea i always ask, you never know what you can learn. im on the internet half the time so a quick google search is always an option too. typically ill use the search to ask them more questions to learn more about it.

I'm very curious, so I intend to ask a lot of questions. If I meet someone someone who knows more than me, then it's an opportunity to gain some of that knowledge for myself. I get worried I overdo it at times, but it's still great to learn something you didn't know about.

Ever since I got into computer science, I've ended up on the other end of this. It's just impossible to talk about your interests or what you're currently working on. Nobody understands it, and nobody seems to want to understand. So I'm glad it's possible for someone on the other end can notice that and resolve to change things.

Wasn't that an old saying "Better to keep one's mouth shut and be thought of a fool than to open it and confirm it" I don't think they meant it quite in terms of finding out what something means rather well, youtube comments are a good example of what it relates to XD
