Oh my goodness, look at my disgruntled baby! That delicious side-eye... he looks like a clown just tried to hand him a balloon animal, or a favorite book was interrupted when his boyfriend asked for a grilled cheese, or a mother asked him to hold their (sticky) child while she went to get something. This is the face of someone not having the conventional idea of "fun" and he wants everyone to know it. I love how that blue hue in his mane ( I think that's the term, I'm no professional) and a toned-down horn color work to scale back his saturation a little, and show what he might look like in a cooler setting like a cloudy day or a low-lit room. This is versus most of my other commissioned pieces of him in which the brightness of his color is employed instead.
