Slow Game
Hana Song struggled to pull herself from the wreckage of her MEKA suit but remained caught at the hips. Normally when her suit was defeated she was able to eject smoothly from it and call a new one once the replacement was ready. The Mobile Exo-Force had designed their suits to auto-eject their pilots once they had taken too much damage, but this time something went wrong. The mech was hit by some new sort of weapon in Eichenwalde and the system started to break down. D.Va tried to manually push the hatch open in the back but to her horror felt the suit starting to shrink around her. She panicked, the young teen not as experienced as some of the other members of Overwatch in crisis situations. She began pushing at the hatch more, kicking it without any results. Something was shifting about her machine and if she didn't get out fast she would be crushed,
"I'm too young to die!" she yelled, a phrase she normally said as a taunt now held an honest distress to it. As she felt a strange viscous liquid begin to fill into the cockpit, she assumed her coolant lines had ruptured, she pulled out her blaster and fired through the front visor. As the acrylic shattered, she pulled herself out but something caught her foot. She pulled and flailed as the MEKA suit slowly fell forward, its legs having disappeared. She ignored this and grabbed at the ground, the strange slime starting to poor out of the cockpit, coating her body as her plug suit began to dissolve. The back of the mech started shifting, it began to spiral backwards, pulling her legs into its twisting chambers. She winced at the sensation of her legs warping to fit the ship's new shape but she felt no pain. The bones in her legs had softened and dissolved as they merged together in a slug-like tail. Hana felt weaker, her arms struggled to even lift herself from the ground as the slime continued to dissolve her clothes. She could feel her small breasts rubbing against the ground as her plug suit melted away. She turned her head slowly, peering at her arm as it weakly grabbed at the ground. Her fingers began losing definition, the digits merging into a slime-coated nub that slowly started to wither and shrink back to her shoulder.
This had to be a dream... This had to be a NIGHTMARE... the young Korean teen coughed, gagging as slime began pushing from her throat. Two small growths wriggled at either side of her mouth, her mollusk tentacles reaching out and sensing her environment. Her mind began to slow as both arms had fully shrunk to her shoulders, a pair of eye stalks pushing out as sight left her human eyes. She wriggled more, trying to move, but the panic was draining from her as the features of her face faded away.
The young snail trudged forward, its odd pink shell lifted onto its back as it slowly made its way over the dewy grass. The silence returned to Eichenwalde as the now ex-human mindlessly migrated towards the forest, sensing other snail trails and instinctually preparing herself to be mated.
Snails have tentacles technically... I think I'm deviating from the prompts for Inktober a bit too much
