While most of my photography centers around birds, I sometimes take pictures of birds of a different kind.

What we have here is a pair of white and red B1-RDs(as my dad used to call them) in what appears to be a courtship display. As in raptors, the female is the larger one, so one can assume the white one is the female who is apparently chasing the smaller male. One could wonder if these two different species could successfully reproduce in the wild, and if so, what would the offspring look like? Truely and awe inspiring sight reguardless

Well they aren't MY pilots :p Was just at the air show last year. But yeah, I do wish I could learn to fly, I love playing Microsoft Flight Simulator and other related flight sims and would love to try my hands at a real plane, but sadly it's far out of my price range :p

Nice shot! And your commentary is delightfully silly.
I like how the 'film' (such as it is) is fast enough to keep things sharp, but let the props blur just a little. I remember some pictures I got from a race track and the shots were so fast everything was razor sharp. Nice detail, but it looked like I had just parked my car out on the track and had pictures taken, not that I was under heavy braking for a corner.
Excellent photos. Can't wait to see more.

Well, it all depends on how much ambient light is available. I used a low ISO of 100, which is the lowest my camera can go (I used to shoot 50 when I did slide film), but it was a bright, sunny day, so was able to obtain a shutter speed of 1/800, even with a long, 500mm lens. I try to never shoot anything above 400 ISO, otherwise the pic gets too grainy, which on digital doesn't look very good :p
