A landscape-themed commission for lightning1109, based on Lightning's time and walks in the area. Was super happy to make this as a memorial :) One of the first commissions I ever did was a British landscape as well, so it was really nice to go back to it in a way too! Very soothing to paint.

when I was a kid long long ago I grew up in Sanderstead not far from where the picture is supposed to be set. last time I was there the country side of my past had all been built over and it had lost its quiet charm.
