Despite his downright frightening appearance, Tristan is a quiet, sensitive, and gentle soul with the heart of a poet. His severe introversion makes it incredibly difficult for him to so much as communicate with his peers, much less actually make friends. He’s mostly seen as gloomy and pessimistic, and has been deemed one of the PCA’s “most depressing students”. More often than not, he can be found sitting in a dark corner, far away from sentient life, scribbling away in a little black notebook that contains his “heart and soul”—or so he claims. He is an avid writer, his forte being deeply emotional lyrics which he oftentimes sets to simple melodies.

He has a strong preference for his “natural” form, keeping a Griseous Orb on his body at all times to maintain it, though he lacks his second pair of arms due to a severe birth deformity. However, he has very little control over the actions of the protrusions on his back—they can commonly be found prodding other students, knocking over whatever is within their reach, and generally making his life miserable. To remedy this, he avoids his fellows at all costs, even to the point of his GPA dropping dramatically.
