from my reading children of a very young age are resilient to trauma, and do often have strong chances of recovering well, so if there is underlying issues along with mental isntability, they work out the bad stuff, and use meds for the rest!

Aside from that it feels like Nysce has went through this process herself or a similar one. EVERYBODY has their beginnings or excuses for why they act a certain way and I suspect Nysce has had a bit of an abusive or neglectful past...likely involving a male since all staff and "students" here are GIRLS!

I've read up on psychopaths, I've read "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest". She's scary but she's still mortal. Even some of the ancient Gods had reasons for their behavior or personality...even if it was Far-fetched.

...I'm starting to suspect that it's not all the others in the asylum who are actually a few bricks shy of a load, but Nysce herself. And if she's running an asylum, she's probably got local government on her side... which only makes her even more dangerous in this regard.

Jesus. I'm starting to question the mental state of the doctor. I mean, no sane person makes a face like that. Trust me. I'd know.
Also, I love the fact that she has a pack of diapers behind her desk. It just seems funny because I remember her wearing one earlier in the comic. So I guess I'm just assuming that those are her diapers. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
