This one is for concept for a larger painting. I kept the line work on the gryphon very sparse on purpose. Credit where credit is due, the barn owl gryphon is inspired by my very talented friend Diana Harlan Stein. I've wanted to play with the concept every since I saw a sketch in her sketchbook.
