This show is a masterpiece. The "mixed-media" art style is incredible, the gags are genuinely hilarious, it's cute on the right moments and the direction on certain scenes (car pursuits, for example) are so good it should be seen on a movie screen.

Agreed...unfortunately that's exactly what makes FWoG hard and expensive to produce. The IS great though...it's crazyness is just so entertaining (unlike Uncle Grandpa which is just plain weird in many moments). Without Gumbal, Regular Show and Adventure Time the only good thing remaining on CN will be Steven Universe. <=\

Sometimes people get too blinded by nostalgia with stuff like "There's no good cartoons anymore," when they're stuck only remembering things from the 80's and 90's, while ignoring things like Gumball that are out now that are just fantastic and remarkably fresh. Really great job capturing the kind of frantic energy the show has with these two!

...though like others have said I wouldn't mind seeing your take on a curvy Nicole either XD

Oookay, I'm getting the whole series via Apple TV (Dec 2022), so I can enjoy these drawings logically.

Hope you're enjoying this series. I was hooked by it back when I drew these sketches. :) I specifically enjoying drawing Nicole though.

Most people like to draw her sultry and flirty, but I wanted to bring one of her main features: her "berserk mode", lol

Just getting the whole series bit by bit, Elton, so I'm watching it a little out of sequence so far.

Got a couple "asks" for sketches of Nicole, but the request are a little bit, uh,... much.😜I don't know, maybe, maybe not, but that will come to a head probably by 2023 ( I will have to open commissions some day...).
