Err. Hmm! I would be, if there were not SO little science out there that is able -and- willing. No fingerpointing since legitimacy is a bitch still. So yeah just lots of sorta informal approaches on dark and intellectual. I am working on a tropes and mem cloud if that tells you anything, it seems to prep a framework of awareness teaching.
I know I`d call the style intensely oppressive but I learned the term from pictures:

Most of the time in music you hear, you would hear a 4/4 on any tempo...which is the general easy thing to do for most people as it occurs in the mainstream...
Though to be a little different, you could do something that seems a little off...
For instance I could do 7/8ths time signature where it would count to seven before it would begin the next section...I do have a track with this time signature here...
Usually in most cases I see different time signatures used mostly in rock or heavy metal music from bands like Periphery, Tesseract, Animals as Leaders, Skyharbor, and a bunch more...
I know a few electronic music music producers who that was well who do crazy time signature changes like Trifonic, Matt Lange, Mr Bill, even the man himself Deadmau5 a few times in rare occasions, and there are plenty more...
What even gets crazier is that you can have time signature changes while on the same tempo...like have it 7/8, 3/4, then 13/16 or have something crazy as 3/2, 5/8, 9/16, then 5/4 or do even something insane as having the tempo change while the time signatures changes...
It gets crazy...but thats whats fun about it int he first place...
