Well, yes. rupix is an archer but he doesn't shoot arrows much nowadays anymore. A shame really since he used to eb quite good at that. this picture is presented to you in super wide screen.

I really like this for some reason! Handsome character design, and you just introduced me to DrPickelle so extra good. And it got me wondering about what you could use the wings for in archery... Shade to get sun out of your eyes? A little more stability for your arm? Hm.
Also kudos for the tiny detail of the arrow being on the correct side of the bow for a left-handed shot. :>

There's more than just a few tiny details in this picture than the arrow being on the right side~ An actual archer was consulted for the correct pose and all to have it as realistic as possible, and other things archer use. Arm protection, a thingy you strap to your fingers, three fingers instead of two etc.
I'm also not sure what purpose those wings could serve in such a situation. Probably none (beside showing off for a cool shot :p) as the sun would be above you still. It would need to be really low already to be blocked.

Ooh, now that you mention it, you're right! I love it! I have one of those obnoxious detail-oriented personalities and notice inconsistencies faster than I notice the really subtle details. I did note the arm guards and really good posture, but I didn't even notice the finger protection!
And yeah, but it's fun to think about the possibilities with two extra limbs. Even if it's nothing but cartoonish showiness for a neat shot~
