Ha ha That is hilarious! It's strange the things that a deaf cat can do tho. I have noticed Kilo "clicking" when he is in hunting mode it's rather interested. Also somehow he knows when I'm pouring food into his bowl even tho he is dead asleep. It's crazy

the deaf ones hunt by smell, he knows the smell of the food by now, i know because i can open a can of sardines in my kitchen and my Sweet Baboo will be from the very back part of the apartment to the kitchen in like ten seconds flat with that atrocious MROOOOOOOOOORW of a meow of hers

LMAO! That is great! They have the most horrid meows don't they? I used to feel bad saying it but he really really does! When Kilo was younger I let him outside and watched him try and hunt a bird. It was the funniest thing ever because he was trying to be all stealthy and sneak up on the bird but he was stepping on every twig and leaf from where he was to the bird, the bird was just sitting there like "Is this guy for real?" So when he finally did the butt wiggle the bird flew off.

So adorable, we had a cat who wasn't deaf who was only a few months older than the other and she couldn't hunt because she was so used to "stalking" a deaf friend XD
