This is the first in a series introducing my characters.
I'd like to thank
LethargicDeer for the art.
Introducing Flint:
Flint Locke
River Otter
Age 31
Birthday: June 24, 1860
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 185lbs
Clothing: Likes to wear fancy clothing especially brightly colored vests. Mainly due to his rather plain colored fur.
Personality: Laid back and adventurous. Always out for a good time. Can be a bit of a smart-ass which gets him into trouble sometimes, but he somehow manages to get out relatively unscathed (probably due to a good sense of humor). Despite his seemingly flaky personality, he is very loyal to his friends and will go out of his way to help someone in need.
He currently loves being called “Papa” by Lilly, Bobby, and Banit. He chokes up sometimes when he hears it.
Favorite food: Grilled Rosemary Lemon Salmon cooked with capers and Marsala wine, but will settle for more normal table fare.
Weapon of choice: .38cal derringer, however he is known to carry an ivory handled 1873 Colt Single Action Army in .45lc; recently he has received a matching pair of engraved SAAs in 45lc. One a standard 7 1/2 inch barrel, the other a four inch, both have stag grips.
Sexuality: Mostly straight, has been known to dabble on the other side on occasion usually to gain an advantage against someone.
Hobbies: Mostly lazing or wandering about, teasing the kids, causing trouble, or reading. He does like to travel though.
History: Not much is known about his early childhood however he was discovered digging for food outside of a saloon. The owners asked him to stay and live with them. He quickly became part of their family. Ma and Pa took care of him and raised him as best they could including encouraging him to become educated and gentlemanly. Much to the chagrin of Ma, for most of his adult life he has bounced from one riverboat to the next living a very relaxed life of womanizing and gambling. However, after reading a few dime novels he's decided to venture out west and try to see if the stories are true. His most notable feature is that while he looks and acts like a card sharp, he is really bad at any card game (Lost to a 5 year old playing Go-fish). He just has really poor luck with cards. The scars on his face make him look like a gunslinger (which gets him out of more that a few scraps) but all of his scars are from him learning how to ride a horse, and that one soiled dove that he tried to sneak out on. Prefers to just drift though life wherever the current or wind takes him. He is however surprisingly skilled with guns and is often hired for protection and for keeping the law.

Thanks. I really love how he turned out in this one. You can really get a feel for his personality. This was part of an Iron Artist that
LethargicDeer did.
