Mag grinned as he grasped the P-51's control stick. "Are you ready for this Kizzie?" Mag asked glancing over his shoulder at a the visually nervous Fox.
"Are you certain you know what you're doing Mag? This thing is older than you and me put together, and it feels like it could shake apart at any moment!"
"Nonsense," Mag rebuffed, turning the aircraft onto the center line of the run-way. "She flies like a dream".
"Hmph," Kizzie huffed, "Well, I suppose this is better than spending a day listening to your stupid little pu- WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!"
Before Kizzie was able to finish her protest, Mag fully engaged the throttle, and the airplane roared forward on the track. As soon as Mag felt the lift under the wings, he aggressively pulled the control stick back, entering into a sharp climb, creating new screams of protest from Kizzie.
"Hey Kizzie, you were saying something about puns, right?" Mag asked with a hint of sarcasm.
"You wouldn't *DARE*!" She protested from the co-pilot's seat.
Mag grinned sly-ly and checked the altimeter. 10,000 feet, alright, that should provide plenty of space for a bit of fun. Mag though to himself. He glanced back at Kizzie, "Oh you know, I just thought I'd take it for a spin."
Kizzie crossed her arms, and glared at Mag "You're not funny, and you better not do what I think you're intendin-"
Mag interrupted her protest by sharply engaging the control stick, bringing, lurching one wing downwards, causing the aircraft to going into a barrel roll. Kizzie shrieked as she felt the increased force of gravity during the maneuver, and immediately began to protest Mag's idea of an "afternoon of fun".
"That does it mister, you put us back on the ground this instant! I can't believe Draka managed to convince me to give this a try as well."
"Oh, speaking of Draka, I think I can see her house from here." Mag stated facetiously, "we should 'drop in.'" Mag could feel Kizzie's gaze burning into the back of his skull, but chose to ignore it as he proceeded to fulfill his pun. He brought the engine to minimum power, and pulled back on the control stick, forcing the aircraft into a climb. Over Kizzie's protests, built in stall alarms began to whistle as the aircraft continue to lose air speed. Within moments, the Mustang reached the minimum lift velocity, causing a momentary feeling of weightlessness to its two passengers. Kizzie managed one last protest before the inevitable descent began.
"I HATE PUNS, AND I HATE FLYING, AND I HATE YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU!!!!!!" she howled as the plane plummeted towards the ground. Kizzie grasped the armrests of her chair, holding onto them as though her very life depended on it. Mag, however, re-engaged the throttle, and continued to watch the altimeter, to ensure the aircraft did not dive too far towards the ground during the maneuver. After diving to 5,000 feet, Mag leveled the aircraft, and put it on a course back to the airport they'd departed from. After setting the course, Mag turned back to Kizzie and smiled "let's not steal anymore of my towels, or parade me around the neighborhood naked again, alright?"
"Oh, when we get back on the ground, you're so gonna get it Mag, UGH, just you wait till I get my hands on you!" Kizzie retorted, blind with fury at the aerial shenanigans.
Mag landed and returned the craft to its berth without further instigating Kizzie, reveling in the notion he'd won this round. A completely frazzled Kizzie, however, continued to read Mag the riot act as they walked back on the track.
"And that dive! That was insane, I thought we were gonna crash for a moment! Just who gave you a pilot's license, huh?!" Kizzie demanded.
"Relax, it was just a stall, it's supposed to fall that way." Mag explained.
"Oh, it's just *SUPPOSED* to fall down like that, well let me tell you something else mister-" Kizzie continued her tirade all the way down the track, yet in spite the Fox's protests only one thought crossed Mag's mind, Heh, totally worth it!
END NARRATIVE
So there you have it, the next entry in the game of shenanigans! Kizzie's gonna have to work really hard to get the tally back to even! It'll take a couple of events for her really to settle the score for Mag's little flight here XD

Haha, nice XD
Well, I'm more accustomed to stall training, since I'm still working on the private license (yeah, acknowledge as far as piloting is concerned, I am still very nobbish), but it is certainly within the realms of my interest/plans to do some more acrobatic style aviation training in the future XD

Ah, thank you,
Sorry I was not able to quite fit it in this week's Thursday Prompt. I made the attempt, however, I think it would have felt forced, and not worked with the flow of the narrative :V
Still, I need to try and get at least one in before I start the NaNoWriMo novel I've been developing ideas and concept for here in just over a week XD

Ah, no worries,
I know we discussed the close up preview I posted just prior to this one, but may not yet this one XD
And thank you, I agree that Iskra did simply a phenomenal job in everything, the details, the expressions, and I had a lot of fun with the story in this one (and while I've not done this in real life *yet*, I do have an intended victim for when I have a license XD )

Well, there are variants that are/were actually (as the P-51 had many variants),
For example, the TRF-51D had two seats (it was a trainer plane), the TP-51, which had an enlarged canopy for two seats, but only had 4 wing guns instead. In fact, some of these variants are available for a rental flight at "Stallion 51" in Florida for those who have a private pilot's license... Something that I've been working towards doing one day X'D They have 3 craft with the "dual seater" canopy...
Now, the most famous model of the P-51 D naturally did not have the two seater design XD
