Stupid Fortune Cookie: Halloween Special 1 pg 1!
Here's the first page of the Stupid Fortune Cookie halloween strip! The other two are currently up on Patreon right now; I'll post the rest to FA next week!
Arty is well known among his social circle for holiday parties. He takes holiday parties extremely seriously, and they end up being big, if informal affairs. Christmas is his major endeavor, but he also puts in a lot of effort on Halloween too. Therefore, if you show up to Arty's Halloween party without a costume, you're sure to get interrogated...
Fortunately Custard was a drama major, so he knows exactly how to defuse Arty, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was some honesty in his soliloquey there. For the record, Custard can and does switch from Mariposan pidgin* to proper English and back.
Why Arty wears the Halloween Yumar costume every year is a mystery, but rest assured he does take good care of it.
*Mariposan pidgin is a dialect spoken by butterflies, meant to be a mishmash of Mariposan (butterfly language) and English. It also serves as an intermediary language for butterflies and caterpillars to speak, as Mariposan requires use of antennae signs along with its spoken word. Mariposan pidgin provides both a common language for caterpillars and butterflies, but also English speakers as well. So now you know why Custard has always spoken a little oddly!

He does wear a sort of binder-like set of bandages, but its more to provide support for his swollen wingbuds. Since his wings are impacted and never came in properly he deals with a lot of chronic pain.
His husband, however, is trans and did wear a binder at one point!
