Thanks! I find that having direct sunlight makes a world of difference... the flash can't really compare.

The emperor would be proud to have you photograph him, I'm sure. ^^ I've said it before but I'll say it again, you do take very nice pictures, Stitch. The feathers look so shiny!

When I lived wiht my grandmas we had peacocks and peahens on the porperty One of them was nickanmed the stripper cause he would dance and dispaly his feathers for treats and was veery freindly towards people
the others not so much

This guy was quite approachable... didn't mind me or my camera being right up close. This was at a local park, so maybe he's used to folks. :3

Wonderful shot! Someone used to have one near where I lived, you would always see it around their yard when we drove by in the school bus. This is many years ago mind you. hehe

OMG your pics always make me hate my camera more.. I will never buy a clearance display camera again... the little bugger just refuses to take clear pictures. I love your pics and hope to someday be able to take pictures as good as you.

Having a decent camera is 90% of the equation. Before I got my Canon, I was snapping pix at 1.0 megapixels on a cheapo camera that used floppy disks for storage. :P
