Well, this has to UNDOUBTEDLY be the fastest I've ever written a poem, especially since I JUST posted "Dream-Tip" yesterday! xD
Anyhoo, just a splash of random inspiration behind this one. My mind is SUCH a mystery, but oh does it do me good! =3
Quickie Notes:
1.) This poem plays with homophones, as did my "(K)night Into Dreams." The two words that I played with here are VERY crucial to understanding AND feeling the FULL depth and emotion of this piece! =O
2.) It's got a smidgen of love in it. (just a smidgen) lol
3.) May the conflict in Iraq end SOON! ^^
ENJOY, and please tell me what you think of this one! I was rather excited while working on it! =D
Until next poem! ;3

There is one thing that I'm not sure I quite understood though: "Turned toward the ground, his weary eyes/ met face to face with carnal pools./ Reflections of his dearest love/ came forth, despite surroundings cruel.
A single drop of sorrow fell/ which caused her ripples to depart."
So then, is he looking into a pool of blood at his reflection, and a tear or drop of blood falls causing it to scatter in ripples? Meaning that he is his dearest love (Narcissy comes to mind)? Or was that unintentional? X3
