Luckily I can excuse myself from the drawing quality because UNLIKE YOU GUYS I gave up art to go get me some REAL work.
I am doing very successfully, thank you for noticeding.
I was going to also be a chef but it wasn't funny.

Miss Harvey: Look at that, Nishi's got a job! Hey, Nishi!
Nishi: Hey Miss Harvey! Just got my first paycheck.
Miss Harvey: That's good Nishi, very good!
Neighbor: Way to go young brotha, gettin' paid, gettin' paid.
Thug #3: Yo, I heard Nishi got a job.
Thug #1: Man, I'm proud of him!
Thug #2: [pulling ski mask over his face] Let's rob that Nishi, man.

Wow, you really got a job. Congratulations Nishi.XD I need to get one too. I don't even have a current source of income right now, so I have to step it up. Good luck with your new job. Guess you aren't much of a comedian huh...or a late night show host. XD You put out that fire pretty well though. What are ya saying in the one with C. Falcon, and do you play brawl?

I only have a job if I don't get fired from my imaginary late night talk show. :D Ehehe.
IT WILL NOT DIE. I WILL NOT DIE. Is kinda what I'm saying. It's translated from the F-Zero anime, during Captain Falcon's final Falcon Paaunch. Referring to the evil dream I had, that his fiery fist tried to put an end to.
And I don't have a Wii, so I can't play with bras. ):

Oh, lol well if you are looking for another job, good luck. I saw some of that anime on Fox awhile back. I wasn't expecting a F-Zero anime. I remember Captain Falcon, and some other guy that wasn't Captain Falcon...lol. Cool ref though. I hope you will be able to get a Wii soon. Then you can play brawl and have super cool fun. X3
Your welcome. Yup, good times they were...until voices changed and channels switched and...where the heck was I when fox shows started to air on WB...or CW. Whatever that ch is now. Ah, I wish I could go back in time and spend a few hours in front of the tv on a saturday. Switching back and forth to Fox and WB trying to watch them both. X3
Aiiieee! I've been falling, falling. Falling for so long. *Thump!* Oh, at the bottom at last. *Shakes head and rubs rump* Good thing I'm made of scattered thoughts and realities, or I may have gone to pieces. :) <LoL!>
Seriously, though, I must say this was a very interesting comic, Ox. In a way, I think you may have a fun series on your hands if you would ever consider keeping the "Late Show" concept alive. I mean, after the response you got from everyone here, I'd imagine you could have fun by making goofy strips where you'd interview your commenters. I'm certain, like David Letterman, you could have a fabulous time picking at the quirks and oddities we all bring into your life on a regular basis. :)
On another note, the comedian one reminds me of myself if I ever TRY to be funny. I'm a pun-cracking, wise-assing machine. However, I can't ever do it without having someone else inspire me first. I'm flat otherwise. *cush-cush*

I guess that's a long 62 story drop! Woopsie.
Thanks! I really never know what people will like about my work until I post it. 8D Who knew anyone would want to watch / be on Late Night Nishi! I tried to make other job comics after I sketched these but I was pretty much outta ideas... I'll have to keep the talk show concept in my sketchbook and see what happens!
I guess we're both like that then. 8D Puns are easy, but unless someone else is around to base something off of, jokes are tough to do on your own. :B
