I get the feeling that some people may have not entirely gotten the joke last week because I forgot to mention that Fina's orange collar and midriff flotation rings are actually a part of her body.
Oh dear. I had to explain the joke. My life is over. I've failed at everything.
Those two couldn't fix a bicycle proper, let alone an Aviacean (Fina is an Aviacean).

It's going to be an ongoing comic (these are just the pilot/practice pages) but I may not be able to deliver a comic every single week - not until I get much faster at artworking.
Dex (the human), Fina (the flying dolphin monster) and Dyna (the robot bumblebee/wasp/hornet) are the main characters so you'll see them often, yes.

If anyone didn't get the joke at first it's because I assumed that people would understand that Fina's midriff ring was a part of her body - I thought that the joke inferred that, but I can see now that leap of logic might be expecting too much of people. Also I've been working with these characters for a long time now and I guess I myself take their anatomical quirks for granted.
Hopefully with more comic pages people will get a better grasp of how the characters work and I'll have to worry less about people not getting a joke.
