Let me the say I read the rules for posting several times before I uploaded this pic and if it still falls short of "consent" then I will remove it.
Taken last Year at the Valhalla Rennisance Fair up the the California side of Lake Tahoe. It was my first time at the fair and I wasn't expecting to see any "fur suits" of any kind, but was totally suprised when I did.
I am not sure if this suit is owned by the wearer, or if it is the property of the Valhalla staff (or whomever runs the fair every year), but I am told that this individual was part of the Fair's "entertainment" from long-time goers.
He pretty much just walked around the fair grounds and posed for pics in whatever stylized way was nessisary. I am sertain the wearer is a guy from the shape of the ciurass being flat, as opposed to rounded.
The pic isn't all that great considering the shadows are working against me, but it was hard to tell in the light of day. At the time I was running my camera with the LCD screen 'on', which was obviously a mistake. I guess this is also me saying that I took the pic, not somone else.
The suit was totally awsome, the tail was balanced to "sway" and the helm actually "opened" at the jawline whenever the guy bent forward to do a "roar" type pose. I didn't get many pics taken of him, mostly because there was a lot to see at Valhalla, but partly because I didn't want to get drool all over that expensive looking leather outfit.
Just in case the owner of that outfit actually is a furry, and hangs out on FA, I have two messages for you:
1) Dude, that suit is hot (in a totally not gay way if you're not into guys)
2) Dude, I totally hope it's cool that I'm posting this here (if not, then I'll remove it, no big deal)

Hey there! Yes, of course it's fine if you wanna post it. And I'm glad you like the suit. Rar!
Yeah, it's rare (even in Ren faire circles furries are considered weird, go figure, and also there's usually strict "period" costuming requirements for vendors & entertainers), but we've gradually developed a rapport with the organizers and do a few faires each year now.
Guy inside, yeah. I own the suit, and made all of the dragon parts, but the armor is entirely someone else's work.
And by a strange coincidence...I also did the artwork for the FurCon 2008 t-shirt which the guy is wearing in the background of your Bubble Fairy photo. Small world!
