Practising using my new drawing tablet by working through a list of 20 free sketch requests in random order. The first to be drawn was #7 for
dragon-of-fury who gave me two options, eating or being inflated. Only one sensible outcome, I set up the cake-o-matic to allow him to inflate himself as full of cake as he wants. Don't worry, there's a big off lever right there if he gets too full...
Kinda wobbly lines and not as tightly round and inflatey on the belly as I'd originally intended, but I think I'm getting the hang of the basic tools here.
Keep up to date with the rest of the series as they're chosen and drawn at either http://twitter.com/KittySize or http://telegram.me/KituTales

Fluffy, something that appeared to me each time when seeing you draw characters as a distinct aspect is the way how you draw the eyes. Can't help but pointing it out because to me it seems in a way like the way they are shaped gives the characters more of a melancholical expression always. Can't say if it's just me but they always have that feel of like somebody being nostalgic and a little sad about something. And that's even if you are changing the rest of the facial expressions. Thought I just tell you that it always comes to my attention somehow. Hope it doesn't offend you. You surely have some inspiration there for that certain shape for the eyes. <X3
you could be right there, though I think a good number of the people I draw aren't best pleased with their situations. I've tried out a few other eye shapes before, but none of them worked even as well, might be worth checking some drawing books or tutorials and see what they say?
Ah, that surely could be an explanation. I'm probably just too used on having a variety of expressions visible between several characters. Well with Mice and Rat usually I see an inverted shape to what you have to appear wider to the outer sides. That probably gives the eyes a bigger appearance. But like said, you don't have to feel like changing your style. I just thought I tell you that it gives me a vibe I mentioned.
