So for those who don't know, Vatti's family doesn't celebrate Christmas, instead they have Samhain or as we call it Halloween. A great festival celebrating their cultural history. Families come together and dress in their very best they feast and party and some pull pranks on humans even. On this one night of the year underworlders and can go freely between the underworld and overworld as they please, allowing families and friends that may be divided for most of the year to celebrate together. For us Halloween might just be an excuse to dress up, eat candy and scare kids but for them it's powerful holiday celebrating unity and cultural identity. With all that said this picture is admittedly very intentionally Halloweeny. On an added note here we have them dressed up in their finest and I gotta say Clyde is looking sharp! God do I love that Scythe design I've drawn it a bunch of different ways over time but I'm keeping this version. Really reminds you that one day he'll be the king of the Underworld.
