Just a quick test I did, under one hour.
Playing with new software (Clip Studio Paint). Really like the output!
Thanks for looking. <3

This would be considered a... half-body commission, I guess?

You know, I used to be very slow years back. I've learned that what's most important isn't simply moving my arm faster, but more careful and planned placement of each brush stroke on the canvas. Knowing where to omit details is invaluable, because that also saves a lot of time. You'd be surprised how easy it is to convince the eye of high detail with very little effort.
Just keep going, you'll get the hang of it naturally. c: Eventually you will find your own rhythm.

Ahhh y'know, I used to be super slow. I once thought that being faster meant simply moving my arm faster when drawing and painting. While that can certainly be a factor, what's most important is making sure each brush stroke has purpose. Less trial-and-error, more careful placement of marks on the canvas. Equally, learning where details can be omitted saves a ton of time. I'm still learning a lot as I go, but I thought I'd share some of what I know so far. c:
Thanks so much for the nice comment! Keep practicing. You will get there!
