My kitty walks the lonely road.
A cloud following close behind.
Waiting for a chance to pour and soak my kitty's pride.

She doesn't see me walking beside her, watching from the shadow.
My kitty stops along the way, and the cloud has found its' chance.

A moment later and the rain begins, hiding the tears in her eyes.
I step out from the shadows, an umbrella in my paw, and stop the rain from falling down upon her head.
Now she sees me standing there, underneath her cloud.
Sharing in her pain and sorrow, a smile always there.
Another step and I'm beside her, holding her in my arms, a gentle embrace of warmth and love to shield her from the cold.

We continue down the road together, as close as we can be.
the cloud continues pouring down, but she doesn't seem to care, because she never faces the rain alone.
As long as I am there.
