I love your paintings. I like how you're painting on medium gray instead of white or black. Ive been meaning to tell you that i think your paintings would look even better if they had more contrast. The whitest part of the image should be pretty bright and white, the darkest parts should be almost pitch black. If there isnt enough contrast you risk losing your painting in a sea of gray.

I'm in gratitude for the input you gave me! You're right about me needing to add more contrast to my paintings. I've been trying to balance a particular set of values with each other like this piece because a friend mine mentioned that I used a high value range. You're still correct though, I need to stop being afraid of using pitch black and near white. Been doing studies from photos to ease myself into doing them.

I'm looking forward to what you bring out as well. It's tough to start out with, but I think that you'll get the grip of it quick. :D
