Maybe was this the Inspiration for this Pokemon.

The inspiration is actually from a Mexican heel wrestler. Its red because....fire type, and black because....dark type. Typing is also based off a heel wrestler, (villains of the show, with short and fiery tempers. Known to use lariats often, which also inspires its signature move.)

that make more sense and because Dark Lariat stay in the German Version. That it must be a move from this Pokemon.

He reminds me heavily of Tiger Mask to be honest. I assumed he was the inspiration for this guy.

Also, about the species, they say Entei, Raikou and Suicune are DOG but they look like some kind of feline, why everyone say they are DOG ?! Raikou look like a TIGER and Entei look like a LION (and suicune, I don't know, maybe a cat? Meow ? XD Okay sorry~)
