servojob . I love masquerade stuff, although I don't ever draw any. But the ideas for masquerade-themed costumes and scenarios are often bouncing around my head, so I thought I'd throw this one at Servojob and it turned out quite lovely. Red and black is my favorite color scheme, and I think it offsets the blues of her wool nicely.
So, would you care to dance?

You got another?
Didn't know about the color scheme thing myself. I'd be interested in hearing about how that became your favorite. I'm more of a royal blue/wine red/white tricolor sort of guy myself, with gold or brass accents. A bit of alternate Americana, you might say. Anyway, costume balls and their related accoutrements are things I'm rather fond of as well, though actual fancy dress balls as they were properly called at the time tended towards a broader variety of costumes than we associate with them. They were essentially the Halloween parties of their time.
Also, and you'll know what I mean by this: Keep the patterns on this mask in mind. You may find them useful as reference material for... upcoming, activities.
