And yes I also had good hippy days, I used to have pants like those,but they were real bell bottoms and I had to replace the neon green insert cloth with tie-dye.

I can't say that I condone or support the smoking, but this is a fantastic drawing. Kudos to Neo for the original character design, but you really made it work in your own style. I love how the bright punchy colors of the shirt and pant details look against the pale blue of the main pants shade and the white fur. I think it was a good choice to use colored pencils on the fur. It really helps give it that textured appearance. That and I think if you would have used marker on both the fur and the clothes, it'd be a bit overwhelming. Very nice drawing all-around. I really like the laid back pose and the facial expression. You are very talented and I have to say I'm somewhat envious :P

Hehehe, I used to ear a lot of tie-dye back in the da. I still have lots of shorts still too and a pair of tie-dyed overalls.

I've lost most of my tie-dye so now all I have is my old grateful dead shirts :D

I have a bunch of Grateful Dead shirts I picked up between the years of 1987 through 1995. Many of which are tie-dyed. I still love that band and the music even though I don't listen to it much these days. I do catch some of the former members current bands and projects when they come around though.
