Down in the Murder Hills, of which no one usually visits from how the area gained its name sake a being awoken. Dark Heart had risen again as a comet shoots by. Soon wrecking havoc on fellows nearby the area from a deep hunger that hasn't been sated for millennia. He quickly begins gathering up and feasting upon victims, some living, some not.

Rowan, a defender of sorts hears reports and small rumors of an assailant claiming and devouring victims in murder hills, the name of a large graveyard and chooses to investigate. What he finds, is quite disturbing and with a much shorter foe.

So here's a picture I drew up in my sketchbook a while back and I'm now uploading of course. I think I'll count it as my Halloween picture this year, so I haven't started on any other picture that would fit, and I'm lazy. Anywho, I tried adding some wrinkles on the back of Rowan's coat. The character wasn't originally Rowan since I had to come up with his design, it was more or less a stick figure until I started lining and coloring the picture digitally. I tried adding a bit of a glow effect to the teeth, but that doesn't seem to be appearing.Transparency seems to work.
