Goretober - day 28 -Multiple eyes/limbs/etc. 'trick'
Today’s theme is - Multiple eyes/limbs.etc. Did I mention I have severe arachnophobia? Yeah, this actually kind of creeps me out a bit though not quite as much as the spiders in Skyrim. (Never has “Kill it with fire!!!” been so true. >.>) This is a jumping spider apparently and it can jump 40 times it’s own length and see 340 degrees. Annnnnnd, I’m officially not going to where ever these things are. >.< Used a photo ref with this one, tried to mimic the blurring from the focus though I don’t think it came out quite as good.

Spiders are my favorite animals so i was drawn like a magnet to this adorable art <3 I used to be afraid of them too, but fear turned to adoration the more I learned about them. Here are some facts that hopefully help ease your fear!
Jumping spiders live almost everywhere around the world and are by far the smartest spiders. Despite how far they jump, they are typically no bigger than a fingernail and are very docile and harmless to humans. There is a spider called p. Labiata, which is arguably the smartest of all spiders, and it learns through experience and takes on different strategies for different prey. Very cool!
