Well...my entry for the BaltoSource mascot contest.

I made him blue to match the site's colours but with a pretty red collar to add some extra colour in too (but not TOO much).

I thought it should have a design everyone could enjoy not only looking at but drawing as fanart for BS aswell.
I also didn't want it to be overly simple, a lot of site mascot's look really simple and to be honest, pretty much all the same with the exception of only a few, so I thought BS deserved a mascot that stood out more.

I didn't add "BS" or "Balto Source" into his fur/markings design, I know the rules said it had to have either of those 2 somewhere - but not where. Frankly though...having it on the fur looked awful and -really- kiddish/childish.
I know BS is a "kid friendly site" but I think the mascot should be a character that appeals to all ages, not just the younger members.
Being an "older member" myself, having "BS" or "BaltoSource" plastered over the character itself made me hate it.
So instead, he has "Balto Source" written on his collar tag.

The name "Maxx" I chose because it sounds fun and cute, something BS's mascot should be.

Also - he's a siberian husky.
