Chapter 16: Making It Back
Nicholas and his master were the first to make it back to the Jedi Temple. The two males got off the ship and made their way to the High Council to report on what had happened. They were impressed by the display of Nicholas. The younger male could tell that with this he was one step closer to becoming a Knight. Now all that was left was waiting for Huraz-Alaz to come back. Nicholas couldn't help but wonder how that had gone. The Padawan wouldn't have that long to wait. Nicholas was waiting in the same room where the Nelvaanian had once practiced her lightsaber technique against a remote with the human watching her. Suddenly a noise made the guy look up to see her with a big grin. "We did it!" she exclaimed. "Me and my master were successful with our mission!"
"Hey! Nice!" Nicholas replied and both gave a hi-five to the other. "I'm really happy for you!"
"What about you?"
"Same here!"
"That's awesome!" Both shared a laugh and let the thought of success go through their minds for a few moments.
"So now what?" Huraz-Alaz asked. "How long will it take for the next mission to be assigned?"
"It all depends," Nicholas answered. "Not for a few days at least. You'll need to recover. But even with this I know it's not going to be over for me and the path of the Jedi. Never forget that."
"I won't." With that the two would then head out around the Temple, talking about the mission they had gone on.
