Gaius Plaguespear digs a grave. A perfectly normal daily activity for all necromancers, one that provides an opportunity for exercise and song.
Please refrain from making necro nerf jokes as they make me quite sad.

This is one of the reasons I hate GW2 raids so much. I assumed since there was no Holy Trinity that compositions would be more flexible, but boy was I wrong. Honestly, all they really need to do is allow buffs to affect 10 people in PvE. That would alleviate a lot of these issues.
You know, in all honesty it didn't start out that way. There were certain classes that were absolutely necessary to raid, but in terms of DPS/condi classes, you had a variety. And before the nerf, you could still utilize builds with effective healing that weren't magi on your druids. Compositions come in a variety, and with a static group, you end up just using what works.
Viability is not the same as optimization in gw2 raids. Raids are still doable without strictly adhering to the meta, it's just that players have always tried for the most optimal builds and arrangements in the name of efficiency and progress. Hooray for progress.
