I wanted to do something simpler and do some more 'ancient' looking stones. I initially had Atlantean designs in mind, but for some reason my brain fell back onto some of the stones from the first sets of Bionicle's from Lego, because Lego built a wonderful world with this series. I will admit near the end of it it kind of fell flat as the first few sets were amazing, but then the stylizing changed and I just lost interest, but thinking of this really brought back a lot of nostalgia.
I realize this might fall into an unkown realm for a lot of people, but these particular sets were a part of my childhood and Lego had huge success with them because they could create a deeply rich story from them, some of the lessons learned from the series hopefully left positive messages on a lot of kids, such that yes, one person can really make all the difference.

Remember when they had the the mini bionicles in the happy meals, I had a few of them way back then, but i don't think I ever had any from the first gen from mata nui, I had one from the second ones but I think I stopped getting them a before the metro nui ones even though I remember I really wanted some
yeah, the good sets were intermittent, though I did like the series with the visorak, the Inika were awesome, and i think the Toa Metru had good designs, but the mobility was poorly executed..
It got really bad after 2008 when they tried doing the Glatorian and STARS series, up until then, most of them were pretty decent though I stopped collecting at the 2007 series, none of the Toa seemed interesting, but I did get Ehlek and Pridak. 2008 was just iffy, but definitely after that, there was huge style shift that just ruined it for me.
