[sorry for the ugly format!! i literally can't upload iphone photos because they come out sideways :<]
Here she is!! and all ready for halloween! featuring a halloween badge made by starparty!
i've been working all month on finishing her, and have learned so many things! despite the fact that she has many, many issues, i'm pretty pleased with the end product, and really look forward to making some more suits! this is my second self made suit!
she features:
indoor feetpaws (which are now basically ruined as my fursuit sandals refused to stay on)
DVC fan in muzzle
squeakers in horns
vinyl nose, pawpads, and claws
removable padding
full foam head
and shoutout to
mackoolzie for helping me out with the leg pattern!!!!
i am not looking for feedback/critique at this time, thank you for respecting that!

well, the most expensive material is definitely fur, which can go for $30+/yard. i had to purchase a lot of basic fursuit making tools and whatnot, but just spending on the fabric i probably spent upwards of $300. not to mention the thread, foam, glue etc.... and i'm really small! for someone who's taller and heavier, i'm sure it would be much more.
that's why fursuits are so expensive; not only does it take a lot of skill in many different areas and a lot of man-hours, the base materials themselves cost a lot! it's why you don't really see something of decent quality go for under $700, even if it's just a head. you wouldn't make any profit!
