I'm currently dumping many hours in P4.

As sad as this sounds, i'm at the 2nd to last boss. :/ My luck has been bad, so everytime I get to the floor i'm susposed to be on, death cards come or i get kick'd out some way or another. Its just silly D:

If I may be so behind-the-times in asking.. What game is it that's the badest of badass RPG's to date? It's been a while since I've played a newer game.. Like, since ToS on the GCN.

Well. If you like'd Tale games, get a ps2. There are about 2-3 of them on that system and on the 360 there is also one commin' out.

Persona is a lil bit slower than the Tales game. The battle system isn't an all out brawl, but still pretty fast turn based game.

You might like Persona 3, Persona 4, or maybe Mana Khemia for the Ps2/Psp. Fast, Fun, Pretty, lot of skills, attacks, good story and a refreshin lvl up system.

Huh. Well, I'll have to give all of those a looks see. How did the other Tales games compare to ToS?

Also, have you ever played Skies of Arcadia?

All the other games are Tales games. Really long Drawn out plot. Characters that are very Meh battle wise until you build them up. If you like any Tales game, you pretty much will like them all until you get bored of that formula.

Yeah. I play'd it for GC. It was a ton of fun, but the random battle encounters were happening much to often. Still a very fun game though. Its up there with Evolution in my book.

Well, yeah. You'll tire of any game after playing enough sequels or clones of it. Got tired of MMX after the fourth one.. Same for Final Fantasy. Got bored with that after IX. Some games though, like Zelda, seem to be able to offer something original and fresh with each iteration, discounting the mobile games.

SoA was one of my favorite RPG's, right up there with Shining Force if you ask me.

Shining Force.. Now that's a game that has never gotten boring for me. I've loved it since I first played it as a kid. It's like Final Fantasy in a few ways, but shorter and simpler. And, that's why I liked it. FF required too much time and thought.

Yeah, Everyone loves Shining Force. They went for an update'd battle system that really didn't have as much appeal as the old school tactics. There are a lot of tactics games like that out if you are looking for that kinda thing, ps2 or otherwise, though most of them end up on Handhelds. DS/Psp have a fucking ton. 360.... I can only think of 3 off hand. They range from Meh to Alright.
