Sorry, I was going to draw something funner since today was such a fun day, but then a friend of mine was wondering what's been happening in the years since we last talked, and when I brought up sewing this all came to mind again.
I could have just written this and stored it away, but I like drawing things better, so that's what I did.
I'm still learning how to use that stupid sewing machine! It's much more efficient just to do things by hands. (:

Yeah, any kinda 3d hands on work is always my fave, from fixing cars to scupting thigs its all great :)
Like you say though, its all about having the time to do it right!
With clothes it all depends what im fixing or adjusting,
As im 6'9" clothes are annoying to get and, so I have to make them last :S
I prefur to darn stuff by hand as I can do a much moar sturdy and quality job :)
But for big patches, hems and long seams the machine is the only way!
May youhave many happy waffs in the wefts of life ={[O.o]}=

Haha, oh wow! With that much height I see why it'd be difficult to find the right things for ya. :3
You're really lucky that you can sew then! :3
And fixing cars is a great skill I lack entirely... thank goodness someone would know what to do. :D Hehehe
Good times!

Well with cars and clothes amongst other things, the need to know how to fix things is an econimical necessity :S
Anyone can learn anything given the time and determination, becomming a pro at it takes deddication and commitment!
I think I lack a bit of the latter... as my profile says 'jack of all trades, master of none' LOL

Quite an emotional and insightful tale. I'm just glad to see how, despite what happened with your friend, you are still able to pick up your materials and take part in an interest that you so avidly pursued and succeeded at.
I'd be lying if I didn't say how much of an inspirational person you are, Oxnard. You do so much, do some more, and, despite bad times, are always able to pick yourself up and drive hard at doing the things you love. You are a rare source of positive energy amongst a sea of swirling darkness. Keep up the great work!

You're more than welcome~
Thanks for sharing a tale of your creative drive and its evolution into a skill~ That's truly amazing that you learned a trade to try to please someone, and got so good at it~ The sheer motivating force you have suggests to me that you could achieve anything if your passion is behind it - a truly awesome thing <3
