She had been rescued as a cub after being found with her throat slit, lying amongst other killed cubs. She was saved by someone and operated on at the farm and now she is too tame to be released into the wild again, so she (and the others) live there.

The den is a lot more comfy than that picture makes it look. They've got plenty of hay to settle on, and greenery and toys outside.

What a beatiful animal! I wish these animals could be domesticated so I could have one with me!
