On the landing sequence (from air to ground and attack) it looks like he is going to fall over backwards, on the jump back then it looks like he's going to fall over.

To much rotating. If you have a video camera or a digicam with video option. Go out in the garden and yump forward.
Look at the video you made. Normally the jump is a bow. You can add Symbols to a Path in Flash. (google for that) and it will look much nicer :]

Well yeah, whole jump will be changed to look more parabolic. Math equation will do better than any path I think ^^

I don't think we are acting so mathematicall correct on jumping. Some small weirdness makes it look more human in my opinion. by the way he is jumping as high as he is tall. I know only good athletics capable doing that from stand :D

yeah, I know. I'm a pervert. I like the idea of a cute guy in a tunic or loin cloth having some FF-like battle with some monster or tentacle slime thingey, and having clothes ripped off when damage is taken, and... things done to them if defeated

That would be one of not many games that you want to lose

then again it's kinda like bimson's run or rape but turned based

It is very cute, but you may want to quicken the attack animations. Any game that makes you wait more than 2 or (at most) 3 seconds for a regular attack is going to scare people off. Fun to watch the first time, really old the 47th.

That, and what's the equation you're using for his jump? I can give you a parabolic jump equation rather than a peaked arc that'll look much better.

The whole jump's movement is done temporary, it will be changed to something more parabolic like probably

Welllll I was thinking about an archer, or someone like that. But then I decided that 3 characters are just fine. Warrior, wizard and healer are the basis of every party

I understand. even when I play rps, I'm either a mage/necromancer or a summoner XD I just buy tons of HP and MP pots XD

As other people have said before, the attack animation needs to be sped up.
Not that much though. Personally, I think the jump to get to the monster is a bit slow.
Also his win animation is the best so far X3

Attack will be faster. The jump will have different look, probably it will be bigger

With that in mind, I'd like to request seeing this game finished. You have real talent, and if the look of these characters is any indication, this is shaping up to be exactly the sort of game I'd snap up in a heartbeat. I've always had a weakness for fantasy stories.

Me too, but it all turned out to be a MASSIVE amount of work. An amount I'm afraid I can't handle right now. I really would like to finish this project someday but right now it's just impossible. Perhaps someday...
