Happy Halloween Everybody!

Our third Trick-or-Treat group for the night includes one ofmy friend  Tacky’s kids… and they might not be out past their bedtime, but it’s hard to tell~ That little ghost might be pretty young but short of peeking under the sheet for pampers who can tell~?

Poor Andrew spent most of October helping his mommy prep for a big event she’d be catering and didn’t have time to get a proper outfit for himself… so he was stuck with what they could put together at the last minute. Make a few sewn adjustments for his ears, cut some holes for his eyes, and viola~ An adorable little ghost AND over half of the pichu’s age gone in a poof of Halloween magic~ The generous people handing out treats guess he MIGHT be five… but the most common guess pegs the pichu as a precious three year old~ All of them coo him and ask for him to go “Boo” though… pity all Andrew can manage is an embarrass “Chuu” but that just might be cuter~

Meanwhile Jane actually did go out and get herself a costume since Halloween is VERY important to her… free candy after all~ Sporting a scary outfit (for a young gradeschooler anyway) she’s a scarier version of her big brother’s babyish ghost~ Or as she says it “I’m the Spirit of Famine. Now, Candy. Please.” And if she’s not watched carefull she’ll swipe extra treats from unattended candy bowls… Maddie, who is chaperoning the group, keeps her eyes on the munchlax just to be safe~

Next we have Sammi who, per tradition, is going Trick-or-Treating with the Baros twins again this year. After looking for a costume and being disgusted with her choices from the girls rack (Princess, Cowgirl, Mermaid, Fairy… waaaaaay too much pink and sparkles for the dratini) she went and, reluctantly, grabbed something from the boys rack. So this year she’s a Viking warrior… who gets pissed anew every time the person giving out treats mistakes her for a boy~ Especially when some of the older ones complain about “Parents these days, letting girls dress like this”… of course, she is ALREADY super grumpy due to the fact one of Maddie’s babysitting charges is accompanying them this year~

Tacky is one of Maddie’s regular charges… so the little wooper was OVERJOYED to find out “Miss Madee” also “Babysat” the pretty dratini he saw at Flint Jr’s~ He was even more overjoyed to get to go “tricker tree” with his “Princess” and learn her name was Sammi~ Even if she couldn’t take him Trick-or-Treating this year his mommy DID buy her baby boy a pirate costume… so he was quite overjoyed when people handing out treats called him and Sammi (after finding out she was a girl) the “King and Queen of the seas~” Now if only the dratini would stop being silly and put her shield down so he could share his candy with her this night would be perfect… of course, he also plans to ask “Miss Madee” if he can play with Sammi next time the miltank babysits him~ An idea Maddie only barely managed to stifle a giggle at~
