YEAH, that's me... pretty much all the time, i sleep most of the day and on XBOX LIVE all night. hey! MILLIONS of people love to get away from the everyday life of work and stress and sit back grab a controller and play for hours... some people go through the lengths on not only buying a Playstation 3 or XBOX360... but they buy a WII and PSP... not to mention keeping your old systems like the Gamecube, PS2 and DREAMCAST... me? i have just the XBOX360, DREAMCAST and the PS2.
No ps3 nor WII because i don't care much for the WII and the PS3? too much... hey, more money to buy Xbox360 games and build up my Ps2 game library... call me picky but i love my 3 systems and all it's games.
please give me your thoughts.

*chuckles* Very cute, Tom! *chuckles* Though you are lucky cause you can play with yourself (no pun intended) with those feet of your's! *chuckles*
Though I wonder if it would be a bittersweet victory since you beat/lost at the same time!
*chuckles* Overall! Awesome work overall! Nice adding the game coverart as well as the SF4 screen shot! Keep up the good work, Tom!!

I spend most of my time/paycheck on video games. Whatever doesn't go to rent/tuition for school. I have PS3, 360, and Wii. Well... the PS3 is mine, the Wii is my boyfriend's and the 360 I pass back and forth between my brother and me because we bought it together. I also own a DS. I just spend a loooot of time playing video games......
If it's "Three Red Rings" and less than 3 years old, it's still under warranty.
I just had to send my original 360 in to Microsoft for repair for that problem and the UPS shipping only cost me $13.05!
Just print out the shipping label from Microsoft (through their Xbox website) and take your console to a UPS Store and they'll do all the work for you.
I bought a refurbished unit to hold me over until I get my original back...then I'll always have a back up!

Well yeah, $13 to ship to/from Microsoft to repair the RRoD, plus $100 for a refurbished 360 (which was my choice so as to not be console-less for however long repairs took - so I now have 2)
So far, the repaired 360 is holding strong. If I get another RRoD before September (my 3-year Warranty limit) then it'll cost another $13 (or whatever shipping is at that point...$14?)

Moving out from my current roommate sitch has dropped me down to PS2 and Gamecube, leaving my DS as my most 'modern' console owned. And even then, most of my games are rereleases of nostalgic titles.
Memory lane will keep me busy a good long while!
(And I'd just bought SF4 too...)

Resident Evil 5, Left 4 Dead, and Street Fighter (playing as Zangief too?) You, good-sir, rock...
Very nice collection you've got there. I play too many video games myself, especially over Xbox Live, but oh well. A hobby's a hobby.
Now, to comment on the art. As always you did a great job, I especially love the real cover art you put on each one of the games, right down to the Final Fantasy XII case wedged in the PS2 stack. Your attention to detail is awesome.

you noticed that sir??? wow you have a GREAT eye... i wanted to put all the PS2 games titles in that stack without making too much effort and detail... but after i posted this pic i had a incredible headache so i lied down for a bit afterworths
of course i have well over 20+ games for each system just didn't have the will power to add them to my pic here... i just put my favorite games here seeing if you can also guest what other RPG game is in there???
it's right under FFXII

Very cool that you play videogames in your spare time! My time is usually preoccupied with the Wii playing the import game Tatsunoko Vs Capcom, and playing SNES and Playstation emulators. And I see you like playing with Zangief (In the Mike Haggar costume) in SFIV. Gosh those grabs have some huge priority! What no Wii?! That means no online Smash Bros Brawl battle with you!
I have the Xbox360 (but not the PS3 or Wii); it's reached a point where the system & games are just too damned expensive to own 2 systems (let alone all 3!) anymore.
I also still have (and still use!) the Xbox "original", PS2 & Nintendo GameCube, and even my original Atari 2600 console with about 30 games! (Showing my age there...)
As for portable, I own every incarnation of the Nintendo GameBoy; (Sadly, I lost my original GameBoy, aka "the brick") but I own a GameBoy Color, GameBoy Pocket, GameBoy Advance SP, and the original Nintendo DS (forget the DS Lite & I won't be getting the upcoming DSi, no need for me to upgrade to those), and I own a Sega GameGear!

you, my friend are a compulsive gamer... and i like that, i have no need for any portables because batteries are a BITCH!!! rechargeables are too expensive and gives you very little charge and NOT enough gameplay... and like i said earlier less consoles means more games for that specific console you own. i'm planning on getting the Gamecube and my favorite sort of games for THAT system... the Resident Evil library, donkey Kong Jungle beat, Mario Kart Double Dash and Smash Brothers is my next stop.

When you're chronically ill (like me) you watch allot of TV and play allot of videogames (and surf the internet for furry pr0n!), but I don't have many Xbox Live games that I play online.
The ones with Xbox Live multi-player capabilities that I have are: Halo 3, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: World at War, The Lord of the Rings: Conquest, Halo Wars (gasp!), Fable II, The Orange Box (aka Team Fortress 2), & Grand Theft Auto IV. I haven't really played much online except Call of Duty: World at War & The Lord of the Rings: Conquest.
Feel free to add me to your friend list too.

(My portable GameBoys hold their charges very well. I get lots of time off of replaceable batteries, and the rechargable ones in the GBA & DS give me hours of gameplay! This is something I feel Nintendo does very well.)

I tried NUDE lots of times... especially on Street fighter 4 most of the time when characters like sexy fuck ZANGIEF gets into the picture... it's hard as hell to concentrate with game playing when you have to worry where exactly is your controller possitioned
if you get my meaning... also have you ever sat on a vinyl icy cold chair??? there ya go!!!

Well well, somebody likes ta play da vidya :P I don't play vidya gaems nearly as much it would seem, and I only have like...two that I like to play with like, 1 friend. (Ex: Halo 2, (Halo 1 sucked ass imo, and Halo 3 isn't THAT fun) and SSBM (I like it much more than SSBB...takes real skill, but nobody I know seems to think that way :/)) Then I have loooots of single player gaems that I love <3 (Ex: all Metroid Prime games, Halo 2 and 3, Mass Effect, Starfox Adventures, Windwaker, Twilight Princess, Majoras Mask, Ocarina of Time, Animal Crossing...the list goes on) Unfortunately, I don't like playing online, first, because I don't like playing with more than 1 or two people, and second because I HATE playing with people I don't know. Call it a phobia, but I just loathe it and stay away from it whenever I can. Heh, oh well.
Over the years i've been there... from one console to another and i remembered them like i had them yesterday, but FIRST the ARCADES. here's my story...
ARCADE- Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Pac-Man Junior, Pac-Man Plus, Super Pac-Man, Galaga, Astroids, Space Invaders, Zaxxion, Pole Possission, Joust, Q-bert, Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., Donkey Kong 3, Spy Hunter, Dragon Slayer (laser disk arcade) Gaunlet, X-men-Children of the Atom, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Simpsons, Space Ace (Laser Disk Arcade), Aliens, Aliens Vs Predators and Crazy Taxi.
from ATARI to the XBOX360 i've been through them all and have hundreds of Games over my life and never miss a beat... sure i had my moments when some games met their end by being smashed up, Thrown, giving away or sold but i've been there... heh, being as old as i am now 44 i've seen them all.
and LOVED them all to this day

I was never a nintendo fan, but they have impressed me with their latest, the wii. xbox 360 is alright. Microsoft usually sticks around the warfare and fighting games with a few epic adventure stuffs that are good. I'm a sony fan. Love the playstation stuffs. Though I want every system I can possibly get. Right down to the regular nintendo to enjoy the pleasure of all worlds. Though I don't care much for Sega consoles.
I remember lots of NINTENDO games over the years and i only love one character from NINTENDO and that's DONKEY KONG... there wasn't very many games that NINTENDO made with Donkey Kong in it, there was Mario Kart... and DONKEY KONG Country... over the years they made more games for DONKEY KONG and the systems grew right up to the WII i love to get the WII someday for my Love for the NECKTIE Gorilla still grows strong.
Sega had it's moments with me as well and i remember MORTAL KOMBAT coming to that system with the blood... Sonic the Hedgehog, Ecco the Dolphin, Fantasy Star II, Street Fighter II and many others...
Sega Genesis was one of my Favorite consoles and MICHAEL JACKSON MOONWALKER was the shits, it was Musical, it was Magical and it was Comedy... the best part was it was Michael Jackson. i still have the game shrinkwrapped even though i no longer have the Sega Gensesis it's in my treasure trove of other old favs hanging on my wall plague.
Sega CD made it right after and i remember C & C Music Factory and Night Trap... i think that's what it was called. you know the girl from "Different Strokes" was in the game... (God, Rest here soul)...
The Sega DREAMCAST i still own and i have a few fav games i play from time to time including Marvel vs Capcom 2 & Wacky Races (god, I LOVE that games, watch out Mario Kart)
there you have it, my brief and sweet flashback moment... i hope this helps

*grunts, zipping through the comments, finding seemingly nobody actually commented on the artwork.*
mention games and it's a one track mind with folks, heh.
Well, I'll be the first to say 'tis a really nice picture, You as a gorilla...gawd, if it wasn't so blasted cold I'd have to fan myself until I pass out right
now, very erotic. The seated pose with feet curled and such a determined look is just, well it's both adorable and sexy as hell...love the shorts.
Plus Zangief on the screen, excellent choice...I got an action figure of him for x-mas, it's dead on...if only the thing was life size, it wouldn't be staying in the package, let me tell you.
As for the whole 'gaming' scene, well, much as I wish to be apart of the 'cool' crowd into all that, I'm just not the gamer type. never mind
I can no longer afford the prices they attach to these things, and for me i've always had the curse of getting a system right before they cease production, and something new comes out...NES, Genesis, Snes...I just gave up after that. I got a plyastation 2 for x-mas, one year before all the new xboxes and Wii, and PS3 came out. Granted they're still making games for it, but they won't forever, so I just threw my arms int the air at one point and said 'aw, fuck it!' Whats the point of pisisng all that money away when I'm never going to play it, and it'll be obsolete in less then 5 years anyway to be replaced by the next expensive, time consuming, electricity eating monster machine!
I'm a nutjob, If I want to spend time with people who I can't see in person, I chat, if I want to relax, I take a walk, read or draw...I know, I feel there's something wrong with me most times as everyone else does anything but! It ain't easy being an outsider, let me tell ya...
But all the same, I love ya Tomcat, and this piece of art, and it's good to have a hobby and connect with people however you can, and which ever way appeals to you.
Peace out.
PS *Abducts the gorilla* Mwuhahahaa....

Yeah, Resident Evil 5! I`m going to buy the playstation 3 soon just for that, I just can`t wait for it!
I`ve had Playstation 1 & 2 so far, and I was a huge fan of the controller that never changed the design, since it was perfect in the hand ^^
But I have to say that I never had as many games as you have, I`m more the player, that takes the same games and playes it over and over again like the Resident Evil series and Devil may cry, but I should start playing the Silent Hill series before it becomes too old.

I guess I`ll never use the network for console games. But I`ll still stick on the PS3, I played RE on the X360 already for a bit and was disappointed about the controller don`t know why but the handling is so different. And there`s also a Blue Ray player in the PS 3, which would cost a lot too. But playing together would be cool ^^
No need to worry about my fingers. They still grab this sword handle with easy and can with this sword I can show you the real way to take down your foe and not using this new fancy computer way of doing it. Hehehe...no wonder you have a bit belly, you don't get kind of a real workout like I do.
yeah i played that last FINAL FIGHT and Haggar wasn't playable... and i was furious... it came out for the PS2 & Regular XBOX... i like to get the PS2 version to build up my library... but no luck so far...
Zangief's HAGGAR outfit is available when you buy the downloadable contents on XBOXLIVE if you have microsoft points and have Street Fighter 4
get it

You don't maen Final Fight 3? (finally remembered the number!) there was a blond Chun-Li wannabe and and electric brawler, as well as Haggar and Guy in Alpha mode (except for Chi blasts) Oh, the arcade version! I never understood that choice... like theGBA remake with the Alpha 3 version of Guy and Cody unlockable (once again, Haggar was NOT made in it!)
it was this one...

although you can play HAGGAR in a sulvival ALPHA mode you couldn't play him in the story mode which KINDA SUCKS

I love video games too!
I play any game that interests me
Currently thinking about playing Rhythm Heaven (it's very addictive)
Tatsunoko VS. Capcom has been confirmed for an American release (http://www.wired.com/gamelife/2009/.....apcom-america/) so I'm definitely getting that! and the psp version of LittleBigPlanet (don't own a ps3, only current gen console I don't own )
I also love the DJ Max games, more on the series here : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DJMAX

Tatsunoko VS Capcom? Sorry, I listed a couple of games and got confused on which game you're talking about
by the way, Hakushon Daimao (Tatsunoko) is cut out of the US/EUR version, and there will be 5 new characters, I presume that if they want a balanced roster of charcters from each side, I'm guessing 3 Tatsunoko and 2 Capcom characters
not only that, online play, more minigames, and enhanced story mode.

Haha, yeah games are brilliant. I'm kind of obessive with them mind, I have PS3/Wii to go with my 360...oh and DS Lite. Mind you, it's just to access to many games I want to get/play, so it's like best of all worlds lol.
But if I have to choose one of them, it'll be 360. Funny how I didn't enjoy Xbox 1 at all (I only enjoyed Fable, KOTOR1/2 & Halo co-op on that) yet Xbox 360 is my favourite console. xD
Just wondering..wanna swap gamertags? If not, it's cool mate.

Whoops, I usually mean "swap online IDs" as in add each other on friend list, to play with each other or something like that lol.
Aye, I recall Xbox has better media feedback. It seems to be bitch on Xbox 360 wise, hence me using PS3 for media feedback (mostly just to watch DVDs/Blurays).

GET LEFT4DEAD... it's well worth it and the sequel is coming soon i would LOVE to have you as a BUDDY on that game...
Michael Jackson was the GOD of pop to me, no matter what he did in real life and I didn't care... I always will treasure him and his music, his dance moves are LEGENDARY I loved him for what he did for people... God BLESS BLESS you michael and rest in piece.

RESIDENT EVIL 5 is a GrEaT GaMe!! i had it but sold it to a FRIEND which i had to pay him back for something that he was so wanted urchantly... but i do plan on getting it again (would LOVE to play you in it BTW) but i do have SVR 2009... sorry that most of my created CAWS i can'ty play online because of THQ strict rules of copyright characters not available to play online
while I agree with your sentiment, usually it's people not only get a 360 and Wii, but sometimes will go the lengths to get a PS3. because it's certainly going out of your way to get one of those 600 dollar movie players. because clearly Sony isn't marketing it as a game system (OMG Blue ray! Look how it makes your movies crystal clear! - that ad on EVERY dvd produced by sony)
ok here's the thing. if you don't collect MOVIES then you don't need a PS3 and that's me. reason is that most games that come out for PS3 come also to Xbox360 and no strings attached... Sony wants people to buy their system for the Blu-ray NOT INTERESTED!!! but evenually i do want to get the PS3 cause GOD OF WAR 3 is coming out soon
Video Games are my secret addiction. everyday on the hour, in the minute, during the seconds, live breath and dream video games. i thnk the main is reason is they take you away from everyday life, thats why i love the fantasy genre games, and then theres the kiiling when you needs some stress relief.
Exactly what I look like too, when I play video games...BIG Nintendo Gameboy man...I have every Gameboy handheld system since the original in '89 and still playing Gameboy with the recent Nintendo DS XL...HUGE Mario fan too, that's why I'm more of a Nintendo guy (even though currently I play PS3)...Not that much into computer games though I used to play Warcraft at one point in my life then I stopped...Other than The Mario Bros, I'm OBSESSED with fighting games, I stays on Tekken and Street Fighter all day, everyday even at work, I just can't stop playing either one of those games...BIG KOF fan too or anything having do with Marvel...I pretty much have every gaming system, even your fav X-BOX, though this is the one I play least nowadays, don't know why ...Anyhow, like your artwork up top of a big ass hairy monster gorilla in his undies (assuming that's you ) playing video games til his fingers drop, IT'S CRAZY, BUT I guess we're both CRAZY cause I imagine this being ME as well...Sometimes playing games relieve all kinds of stress for me...Can't live without 'em...Alright, starting to sound like WWE's John Cena with the long winded comments, so I'm out and as always, a BIG ASS fan of all your artwork and hope you're still drawing and coming up with new things...
