Rather be what?
===============================================================================================
This one was tricky. I have a feeling I still fucked up with the tense, trying to make all of this sound past tense.
As for the actual conversation and the family, I like to leave a lot up to you. That's what kind of, makes the story for me. Because if I don't fill in they "Who is wearing what" and "the room is designed like this" blanks, then it's up to your imagination to fill them in, thus, making the story unique to every reader.
There are also some things I had to kind of pick my brain as to what it would actually be like living as a Micro in the wild. They don't know birds are called birds, or what a "garden" is. What they know is knowledge they have been told, and the people that have told them, learned these things from their lives and being around Macros and hearing what they call things, like Birds. Micro's wouldn't know what to call a metal square object that is flying over their village is. Depending on the size of the village, they might not even know what a square, or metal is. But to a Macro, that object is simply a drone.
You never really think how a Micro would learn what's what, and it's the same way in real life. If you stayed in your home, never went to school, and you only learned about what is around you, you'd have no idea what the Sun and the Moon are called, or that they live in a huge world, or what electricity is, or things like that. I dunno, does that make sense?
To those of you that have stuck around thus far, I thank you.
I've noticed this little project is starting to gain a following... a very very very very very small following, but a following none the less. And that's something I've never had before. So I appreciate your +Favs and comments and such.
Some of you may know that I write the Micro's point of view when I'm depressed, and the Macro's point of view when I'm either simply energetic, or angry. It was hard for me to write as a Macro to begin with, just cause I've always thought of myself as a micro, but, point being...
some shit is going down at work. A LOT of jobs are now in question, pretty much anyone that has anything to do with IT, their job is being threatened, and I work for ESPN (www.ESPN.com).... so you can imagine how big this is.
The next coming episodes, I feel will be more, sorrowful, or taking a downwards turn.
But we'll let my imagination decide what comes next.
Thanks again for reading, I sincerely do appreciate it, and hope you like what you're reading so far.
