this is very well drawn. the linework, coloring, shading... it's all fantastic.

however in my opinion, there is one major issue in this pic: the nose/snout. I keep glancing over to that really cool new ref sheet you uploaded 4 days and, well... the nose/snout in this pic, while looking fantastic doesn't really look like wolf or crocodile to me. or at least i can't really recognize it as such. honestly, the first thought that came to my mind as i saw the pic was "oh, that's some kind of hippo hybrid" and it took me a minute to make the connection that this is your guy

*sighs* I didn't draw this. And in my opinion I find it very rude when someone sits there judging and criticizing what someone drew for me without my openly asking for it in the first place. I'm sorry you don't find it to your liking , if that's the case then I suggest you tell the artist directly or not say anything.

its a piece of artwork and as such, its impossible to not personally judge and criticize it when looking at it. we're all doing it with every piece of artwork that we see and more often than not, we like to talk about it and share our opinions.

I like this picture to 95% and rather than talk about one of the good 95%, I choose to talk about the 5% that I didn't like so much because I had hoped to hear your thoughts on that particular part. it's very possible that you see something here that I do not and it would have been cool to read your thoughts about it.

I am being as patient as I can with this.... so to start, you contradict what you just said . You say we all personally judge art yet you publicly did so in a negative way about something not made by me. I like it.

Dont beat around the bush, go say soemthing to the artist since you feel so inclined to easily point out all the flaws YOU dont like.as I said before. The negative critique was not asked for and yet you go on in a long explanation about why you think it's OK to just blurt out negative feedback that was not asked for, wanted or called for.

.I find what you did among many other people I have seen doing the exact same thing to be extremely rude and insulting to the artists. And always the same reply "I didn't mean to offend" which I think is bull because ive heard litterally hundreds of people do what you did and say the exact same reply , yet will keep on throwing their negative thoughts to others. I really think that if you haven't grasped or understood why it's wrong to just say cruddy things without prompt, then you never will.
