tho traditionally, German Shepards are more black with spots of tan. You get the occasional where they are more solid of the lighter colors.

And yes, I know they do. I love German Shepards very much, are the only breed of dogs I will ever own. ^_^

Yeah I lvoe them too. But I am a bit wary of owning a large breed cuz I am such a small person, I find it difficult enough to deal with my Goldie if he wants to run off somewere lol :) *dragged along*

That is why as a puppy you make them obey the leash. With my shepard, we made him walk beside us. And for the most part now, if I tell him to walk with me, he falls right in beside or behind me. And now, you hold up the leash, he falls to the floor and begs not to be put on it, it is so pitiful looking. XD
