Before she was Corazon fighting crime in the streets of New York City, she was just a normal happy and active young lady from a hard working Garifuna family, advancing greatly in school with a nearly perfect GPA and was on her way to becoming a history teacher at Muffles Collage in Belize. originally born in Honduras, at the time she was mostly taught about her own culture and history due to the education being so limited in her area. at the age of 4 her family were forced to flee the country due to the civil war in El Salvador that spilled over the boarder to northern Honduras which resulted in the deaths of 150 innocents and left much of the village in ruins. since then she's remained most of her life in northern Belize (Orange Walk town) before she moved to New York. Very brave, very intelligent very cunning very beautiful yet VERY dangerous, she's one of the last women you want to be in trouble with.
yet despite all that she still continues to take part in her culture which she cherishes greatly.


SIDE FACTS

Lucia is very good at cooking and is a good couturier but she was also involved with heavy work like logging and constructing. more than what any normal working men can handle to say the least

as Corazon is known to the public but receives hardly any media attention unlike Blackjack who is believed to be more of an urban legend, not that their complaining anyways.

as Corazon she tends to bring more pain than death which is why bad guys tend to be more afraid of her than Blackjack. she will kill you very slow and painfully.

out of costume she's very kind and respectful and very protective of those she cares and loves. it takes time for her to warm up to new folks she meets. (try not to do anything stupid to her or her friends if you want to walk home on your own two feet)

aside from Punta music she also likes Jazz, rock and R&B.

the Garifuna according to historians were the only group of africans who were never slaves, as their ship crashed near st Vincent. the remaining survivors swam ashore and intermarried with the Island Caribs. i guess you can say her culture is unique in many ways.
