Background: Penny is one of the many Sprites, Faeries and Pixies who is known to kids as the Tooth Faerie. She is nocturnal in nature and often carries a pouch full of coins that were dropped or discarded around her. It's believed that her and her species live in urban and rural North America.

Penny Molar feeds primarily on calcium and tooth enamel. To adults, Penny freely eats any discarded or forgotten tooth without leaving a cent behind. To children, she takes the tooth from under their pillows and leave a coin as a thank-you to children who believe in them.

How Penny joined Playboy Vampire was that she had been accidentally caught by one if the Vampirette's children and was taken back to Midnight Mansion.

As an apology, they offered Penny a job as a Vampirette for Playboy Vampire. Penny thought over about the offer and agreed when she learned that faeries had existed in Midnight Mansion.
